My wife asked that I start recording a journal of my thoughts, experiences, hopes & dreams, and about anything I'd like to write about.

First off, I'd like to express how blessed I am to have such a good wife. We've been married for almost three years now. Hard to believe! Seems like yesterday we just got married in the Salt Lake Temple. I'm also very blessed to have a wonderful daughter Grace. She is so much fun and so sweet. Let's just say I'm a very blessed man to have my two girls in my life.

We've been living in Arizona for roughly the past two years as I've been working and going to school to get my MBA at Arziona State. It's been a long hard road, but it's coming to an end in the next few weeks, as I'll be graduating. Needless to say, we've learned a lot during this time. I've learned a lot about working with challenging people at work. I've learned the value of patience and pushing forward, even during difficult situations. I've learned that if you keep at, good things will come your way. At this point we're hopeful to find a job back in Utah or wherever the best opportunity is. I'll be honest, it's frustrating to be graduating without a solid job offer. The economy is the worst its ever been in a long time and the job market is especially bone dry. On top of it, I'm not sure what road I want to go down in my career. Do I want to pursue the banking industry, which has completely flopped in the past few years or do I want to go another path. At this point I don't know, but I've got to figure it out, as my family needs an income and health insurance, among other things.

We've got to keep having faith in the Lord that he will provide, so long as I do my part. I have faith the lord will help me find the right job in the right city. It may take time and fortunately we can live with my folks until we find a job, but it will happen. Although finding a job is stressful, life is good. I've been extremely blessed to find Erin and have Grace. I look forward to what the future holds!
